Apart from performing the test in the privacy of your home, it can be done at the time suiting you best or when required. For instance, urine dip-sticks are most valuable to quickly check glucose levels in your urine etc.
All tests come with detailed information on how to do these tests, and these instructions must be followed to the letter to minimize false negatives
or false positives.

Urine testing is straight forward, but people are sometimes squeamish to prick themselves to obtain a drop of blood.
With the Sanitoets home test kits the collection of blood is very easy, and virtually painless.
To collect the blood, you would simply take a finger of choice; clean the spot with the swab provided and then press the Medlance auto lance on the finger and depress the top “trigger”.
This will result in your finger being pricked, without you needing to apply any pressure. After the needle has pricked once, the needle will collapse safely in the housing of the Medlance, and contamination is then not possible, nor could anybody, like a child, prick themselves by mistake.
Our home test kits and urine strips are priced in US Dollar – because it is the most well-known currency. Although we send the tests all over the world, some of them are not intended for sale in the United States of America, since the FDA has not evaluated them.
The items we sell that have been evaluated are the ovulation tests, drugs of abuse, alcohol, 10 parameter urine tests, the Breast Aware examination pad and the Medlance auto lancets.
The drug test kit, malaria test, prostate home test kits, urine test strips, ovulation / fertility tests, Breast aware self-examination pad and the colon test carry the European Standards seal and is EU Compliant.
Our HIV/Aids test has not been evaluated by the FDA or EU, but is used extensively as an initial screening test in South Africa – the country with the highest amount of HIV patients.
We believe that people have the right to conduct rapid screen tests in the privacy of their home and we therefore protect the privacy of our visitors and clients and will not make any information available to anybody unless so required by law.
When mailing the tests, they are packed in plain shipping envelopes and your credit card will be billed as “Sallamander Concepts ZA”.
Although we believe that people should be afforded the privacy to do initial rapid private screening tests, we STRONGLY urge and recommend all clients to have results followed up and verified by laboratory testing or to contact their medical practitioner.
Please remember that there are incubation periods during an infection, such as malaria, which requires the infection to first create enough anti-bodies, before it will show on any test.
