Please note that all our on-line credit card shopping carts use advanced
security, located on secure servers, constantly monitored and verified daily to
be “hacker-proof”.
If you however still feel uncomfortable to buy on-line, or do not have a
Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club or American Express credit card, you can pay
directly into our ABSA account in cash, or do an EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)
to Absa bank. Our bank details….
Should you wish to pay directly, kindly note our minimum order amount below,
as well as the delivery fee applicable, and fax us the proof of payment to
Pretoria 012.361 0061, together with your name, physical address (or Post office
of your choice – see below), your contact telephone number, and a list of the
product/s you require.
Orders placed and received by our offices before 9 o’clock in the morning are
processed the same day, while orders received after 9 am, will be processed the
next business day.
Parcels to these destinations are sent with an “overnight courier service”
using our trusted couriers -
www.Globeflight.co.za – which we have used for many years.
Globeflight list the following places as major metropolitan areas, and only
parcels going to these destinations are couriered:
Pretoria, Johannesburg + Sandton, Alberton + Benoni, Midrand + Kempton Park,
Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth, George, Centurion,
Nelspruit and Pietermaritzburg.
The parcels are normally delivered before 15:00 the next BUSINESS day AFTER
dispatch. Orders sent out on a Friday will only go out for delivery on the
Monday.
Should you place an order over the weekend, it will be processed on Monday,
and if the transaction was successful, the parcel will leave Monday afternoon,
and should reach you on Tuesday.
However – please allow a day or so extra for delivery – it often happens that
flights are delayed, rerouted etc. – which affects the delivery time, and it is
something neither us or the courier company can prevent.
Due to the extra “regional”, “farms”, “plots” and “township” surcharges
payable to the courier company – all these orders are sent to the Post Office of
your choice using the ‘counter-to-counter’ service of Speed Services, which will
normally be delivered to your choice of Post office counter within 48 – 72
hours.
The following places are just a short sample of places to which we use the
Post Office’s Speed Services:
Examples of outlying areas are: Brits, Hartbeespoort, Mooinooi, Paarl,
Wellington, Uitenhage, Worchester, Gordons Bay, Franschoek, Aliwal North,
Jeffreys Bay, Balfour, Babsfontein, Hammanskraal, Babelegi, Broederstroom,
Onderstepoort, Pelindaba, Pyramid, Nigel, Verenining, van der Bilj Park,
Sasolburg etc......
You can go on-line to
www.Globeflight.co.za and track your parcel, and for Speed Services you can
track your parcel at
www.SpeedServices.co.za.
Irrespective of the main courier service or Speed Courier service (depending
where you stay), we subsidize the cost involved for delivery.
We charge R 35.00 per parcel to be delivered – and due to the fact that half
the cost is carried by Sallamander Concepts, we have a minimum order amount.
Orders (excluding the R 35.00 delivery charge) must be in excess of R 150.00.
All websites have a South African order page – where prices, as required by
legislation, are quoted in ZA Rand.
All South African orders must please ONLY be placed on pages quoted in SA
Rand, as the US Dollar prices use a different shopping cart.
If a mistake is made and the American Dollar shopping cart is used, we will
manually correct the mistake and apply the South African prices, but this may
delay the processing of your order for a day or two.
Kindly ensure that the correct e-mail address and telephone number is
provided on the shopping cart – as we use both of them to notify you on the
status of your order.
(Your mail address and telephone number is NEVER used or sold by any third
parties, and is purely for our records.)
If you supply a cellular phone (mobile phone) number as your contact
telephone number, we will SMS you the waybill number (if your parcel is sent via
courier) or the ‘tracking number’ if your parcel is sent via SA Post Office
Speed Services Counter-to-Counter option. You will need the tracking number to collect your parcel
from the post office counter.
Should a cellular phone number not be supplied, the above information will be
e-mailed to you, to the mail address supplied when ordering.
When placing your order in South Africa – PLEASE include your postal code
(zip code) as even courier companies use it to sort parcels, and it helps to
eliminate mistakes in our shipping department, as they have to rely on ancient
postal code books, since the SA Post Office seems unable to print and supply new
ones.
Simply go to any of our websites, and look for the “South African orders”
page on any website, where prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).
To shop, simply click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button next to the product.
When you are ready to finalize your order please press the "Go to Checkout"
button, as this would move you to the secure server where the orders are
finalized.
At the "checkout" you can remove items or increase or decrease the amounts.
